In January, Paris becomes the world capital of design – the renowned Maison & Objet fair gathers designers, architects, and decorators from all over the world to showcase the latest trends, introduce innovations, and present the best manufacturers. Besides the fair itself, the city buzzes with events – Deco Off and Paris Design Week open the doors to the finest showrooms of furniture, lighting, and textiles, along with countless openings and parties. In addition, you will discover Paris’s iconic architectural landmarks, the most prominent exhibitions, and even visit the famous cabaret!
Our tour is an opportunity to make the most of these days, combining productivity with enjoyment, meeting colleagues, and gaining valuable insights from world-class design experts. We have put together a vibrant mix of design, architecture, and art, selecting events, places, and meetings that are simply unmissable during this time in Paris.

Experts
- Maria TroitskayaArchitect and author of the book Parisian Architecture: From Empire to Modernism.
- Ilya GulyantsFounder and Creative Director of the “El Born” studio in London and Moscow, a member of the international association “British Institute of Interior Designers,” and winner of the Grand Prix at the Mosbuild 2022 International Architecture Award. Ilya’s projects have been featured in top Russian and international publications, and he is ranked in the top 100 by AD and the top 10 by Elle Decoration.
- Christophe DelcourtChristophe made his debut on the French design scene in the late 1990s, gaining special recognition for his understated elegance and exceptional sensitivity to materials and colors. He is ranked among the top 100 designers in France. Alongside his own production, he collaborates with prestigious brands such as Baxter, CC-Tapis, Collection Particulière, HC28 Cosmo, Minotti, Roche Bobois, and Wall&Decò.
- Maria MatyrevaMaria graduated in 2016 from the Russian State University for the Humanities (RGGU) with a degree in Art History and later pursued a master’s degree at the École du Louvre. She leads tours at major Parisian museums (Centre Pompidou, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Museum of Modern Art of Paris, and others). She also worked for several years at an Art Deco gallery.

11:00–14:00 Architectural walk through the 16th arrondissement with Maria Troitskaya, featuring visits to unique architectural heritage sites by Le Corbusier and Mallet-Stevens.
14:00 – 15:30 Lunch
16:00–18:00 Visit to the Arte Povera exhibition at Bourse de Commerce
We will visit one of the most intriguing contemporary art museums in Paris – Bourse de Commerce, home to the collection of patron and magnate François Pinault. The former stock exchange building was transformed into a museum by Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
This is the first time Pinault’s space has hosted a project of such scale: 250 iconic works, mostly from his own collection and the Castello di Rivoli – the central museum of Arte Povera.
21:00 – 23:00 Crazy Horse cabaret
We will spend the evening at the legendary Parisian cabaret Crazy Horse, famous for its burlesque shows.

16:00–18:00 Visit to the Arte Povera exhibition at Bourse de Commerce
We will visit one of the most intriguing contemporary art museums in Paris – Bourse de Commerce, home to the collection of patron and magnate François Pinault. The former stock exchange building was transformed into a museum by Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

Before visiting the Maison & Objet fair, we will start the day with an introduction to the latest design trends, presented by our lead expert Ilya Gulyants.
12:00 – 16:00 Visit to the Maison & Objet fair with Ilya Gulyants.
We will head to the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, where Maison & Objet is held. Ilya will guide us through the most noteworthy pavilions and stands, highlighting key features, new products, and showcasing the trends discussed earlier in person.
19:00 – 20:30 Visit to the design studio of Christophe Delcourt
(ranked among the top 100 designers in France).

11:00 – 13:00 Visit to the “Pop Forever, Tom Wesselmann &…” exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton with an art expert.
13.30–15.00 Lunch.
15:00 – 18:00 Tour of design galleries and showrooms as part of the Deco Off program.
After lunch, we will stay on the Left Bank to visit the main design galleries of Paris, guided by Ilya Gulyants (with some galleries welcoming us personally). We will also explore exclusive showrooms for furniture, textiles, lighting, and decor specially opened during this time as part of Deco Off and Paris Design Week. We will see new collections of fabrics and pieces by Christophe Delcourt, Pierre Frey, and many other design masters..
19:00 – 20:30 Presentation of the new collection by renowned designer Chahan Minassian at Chahan Gallery.
January 18
11:00 – 14:00 Tour of the largest antique market in Europe, Saint-Ouen.
This is an open-air museum where you can find everything from inexpensive trinkets to furniture and genuine works of art (if you know where and how to look). Ilya will show us his favorite galleries and shops, introduce us to some antique dealers, and share how he incorporates antiques into his projects.
17:00 – 19:00 Visit the Invisible Collection design studio.
