Horvat's studio in Boulogne-Billancourt

We will have the unique opportunity to visit Horvat's studio in Boulogne-Billancourt, where he built his ideal workshop - a black cube with windows facing north.

It completes his archives as well as his personal collection of photography, which he collected over 30 years. After the photographer's passing in October 2020, the archive is being handled by his daughter Fiammetta Horvat, who will meet us at the studio.
We will be guided there by Sidonie Gaychet, photography expert, curator, gallerist and founder of her own gallery. She will talk about Horvath's work, his contribution to world photography, and together with Fiammetta Horvat will introduce us to the great master's archives.
About Sidonie Gaychet
Sidonie is passionate about photography and contemporary art in general. After completing an MA in Art History in Toulouse, she was top of her class on the International Art Market MBA programme (ICART). In 2011 she started working at VU' Gallery and in 2014 she joined the team of Europe's leading photo gallery Polka, becoming deputy director and a regular contributor to Polka magazine. After participating in the launch of Gallery 110 in 2022, Sidonie Geische founded her own gallery Galerie S.
